I talk to rocks and birds; I say thank you. I talk to the dead and to the sea; I say thank you. If a million footsteps on stone change its shape but feet never fully touch the surface, do words said aloud touch the future, other oceans, someone not hearing?
An echo of a landscape of gratitude, a place to send a wave of appreciation, An Inaudible Thank You is composed of ten granite boulders, each perched atop a black steel pipe arranged on a square of land with another smaller square of land behind it, empty.
